Low Vision Services Offered

At our clinic, we provide:

  • Low vision eye exams: A low vision exam differs from a standard medical eye exam by focusing on functional vision. The aim is to achieve the patient’s “wish list,” such as reading or driving, using specialized tools and devices tailored to your needs. The exam consists of a medical history review, assessments with specialized charts, and testing of devices to find what works for you.
  • Common glasses and devices: Functional vision can be regained with the assistance of specialized glasses and devices. These may include telescopic, microscopic, and prismatic glasses, e-scoop glasses, electronic or video aids, traditional magnifiers, or other non-optical aids.
